Overview

An entrepreneurial, growth-oriented company in the industrial refrigeration and HVAC industry is seeking a Senior Project Sales Engineer to help drive expansion across its Southwestern Ohio service territory. This role blends technical project engineering with business development, making initial contact with new and existing customers, understanding their needs, and building long-term relationships through quoting and project planning.

What you'll do

• Develop new business opportunities within the industrial refrigeration and HVAC market
• Form technical solutions to meet customer needs
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through quoting and close
• Lead project planning and project management activities
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration or HVAC
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial construction, engineering, or project management role
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Knowledge of project management disciplines and techniques (project plan, Gantt, CPM)
• Understanding of industry equipment components
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements
• Safety-minded with knowledge of safe work practices
• Ability to estimate, quote, and sell new business profitably
• Willingness to directly ask customers for the opportunity to do the work

Preferred qualifications

• Technical knowledge of ammonia refrigeration a plus
• Technical knowledge of CO2 refrigeration and mechanical/HVAC systems a plus
• PMP certification a plus
