Overview

A community-based behavioral health provider in a rural setting is seeking a Licensed Counselor (LCPC or LCSW) to join its growing behavioral health team, working across a school-based health center and a community outpatient clinic. This is a full-time role located in Shelby, MT.

What you'll do

  • Provide outpatient counseling services to children and adults
  • Work across two settings: a school-based health center (approximately 3 days per week) and a main outpatient clinic serving the general public
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and document care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to patient needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to support holistic patient care
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Uphold ethical standards and comply with all state and organizational requirements
  • Deliver patient-centered care with flexibility in session length and treatment approach

What you'll need

  • Active LCPC or LCSW license required (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
  • Fully licensed only (candidate or provisional licenses not accepted)
  • Open to all experience levels, including newly licensed clinicians
  • Must be willing and comfortable working with children (specific pediatric experience is helpful but not required)

Compensation and benefits

  • $33 - $38 per hour (equivalent to roughly $33,000 to $38,000 annualized)
  • Relocation incentive and sign on bonus
  • Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, or four 10-hour days per week
