Overview
A premier health organization in the Finger Lakes region of New York State is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary Medicine Critical Care Physician to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a vital role supporting a community-focused health system in one of New York's most desirable regions.
What you'll do
- Provide consultation and ongoing care for patients with pulmonary disorders such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension
- Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds in the ICU
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Required qualifications
- Active and unrestricted medical license in NYS or eligible to obtain
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine Critical Care
- Valid DEA license
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- US Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Pain Management
- Less than 1 year experience
Compensation and benefits
- Pay range: $515,000-550,000
